Agate chalcedony, a type of quartz stone, typically banded in appearance with varying color and transparency. Agate is the first ever mentioned gemstone in acient history, first found by the Achates River in Egypt.

Rose Quartz is the name used for pink versions of the mineral quartz. The pink color appear beacause of microscopic pink variety inclusions. These inclusions are usually abundant enough to make the rose quartz translucent instead of transparent.
